There is no reason to keep marijuana illegal any longer. The social, economic and medical benefits clearly outweigh any risks. Yet the FDA has put this natural plant on Schedule I, the most restrictive drug schedule, along with heroin, LSD and "Ecstasy". In terms of testing, most foods we eat on a regular basis have yet to be tested to the extent that marijuana has. So either the FDA should stand on its laurels and ban the sale of all food products in the United States until their constituent chemicals are thoroughly tested, or they need to legalize marijuana until a risk can be identified.
Many of the foods sold in everyday markets are known to contain poisonous toxins. Apple seeds contain chemicals which are converted to cyanide during digestion. The phrase “As American as apple pie” would have new meaning if the FDA were to ban the sale and cultivation of apples. Alcohol and tobacco are bad too. Also, wheat, one of the staples of civilization, causes anaphylaxis in some humans which can lead to death. Yet cannabis, a plant with no known fatalities in over 10,000 years of interaction, is illegal when it provides relief for AIDS and Cancer patients.
Is it right to tell people how to live their lives? Is it ethical to tell people that they can't drink a beer in their own home? Why then, does our government feel that it has the right to prohibit individuals from smoking marijuana? Prohibition didn't work with alcohol, and it isn't working with marijuana.
This country was virtually built on cannabis; many of our founding documents were even printed on hemp paper. At one point, it was illegal for farm-owners to not grow cannabis. In retrospect, the phrase should go, “As American as cannabis.”

Now I thought she said that we shouldn't include info on alcohol and tobacco because it was more of an argument against them than for pot. But today she said to include them so I say include it but don't argue the point too hard. The bit about the apple seeds strengthens that argument.

Also don't explain the logo, just mention what it is. "We are Mass Acceptance, this is our logo" -> pitch
